Can't close a crafting screen in the tab menu.

The item crafting recipe wont close in any way, its constantly there and blocking item descriptions

Check and change your game/ system resolution size.
Recheck your keybinds, if overlapping between Inventory/ Craft/ Interaction.
See if helps.

I'm having the same problem. Changing resolution or key bindings does not help.

click on the cup, also if your res isn't higher then 5\4 it'll always clip

If you are concerned of it blocking your view, if isn't due to playing in a smaller resolution size.
If not using the Build menu, select a smaller description subject, like nail for example.
Smaller with little blockage.

This happening to me as well. The crafting detail screen is stuck open. But I can no longer access the two inventory slots it is 'hiding' in my display.

This is not probably a screen resolution problem as the menu was not stuck open when i started playing almost an hour ago. It would open and then shut if I built and item or changed the higher level category on the build menu.

If I open my inventory, the crafting menu opens all the way down to the detail again.
If I select other items options it changes to that item, but if I select a different menu level it remains displaying the details only changing now to the top of that list.
If I select the same option (repeating what I would have done originally to open the details) there is no visible effect.

But it is interfering with me being able to move inventory items around.

It's 2025 and I am still having this exact same issue. Crafting tab is stuck and won't go away when I open my inventory, and it blocks the uppermost left two inventory slots so they're inaccessible. Sleeping doesn't change it, only logging out and coming back into the game. Extremely frustrating.
