This just might be my own personal problem. BEES BEES BEES BEES Makes my raft sound like a garbage dump. Is it just me but the bees seem really loud and it sounds like a swarm of flies around a dumpster, I'm all about cleaning the ocean of plastics and other materials, but come on.... Bees are loud. I shouldn't be able to hear them 3 floors down just sayin.

I was just thinking the same thing today. They are way too loud, and ruin the calm quiet of the game. It goes from serene and calm with peaceful waves with the occasional bird, to an endless buzzing that makes me feel like I have bugs all over me. Something about that sound really annoys me.

I just put them around the cargo hold. rest of my ship isnt really near that. granted I have two hives at the top of the ship, over the bridge, but Im only there for a few times.

yes to everything. They ruin the whole drifting peacefully vibe. For me to cope with them on my raft, ie keep the flowers away from the seagulls -- that requires a double layer of roofing which then makes a really ugly and too big house which visually, takes up a lot of real estate on my cosy little and otherwise adorable houseboat.

And then the whole thing has to be put 20 foundations away from everything else cos between the sound and the size, it's just too obnoxious, which then puts me over the limit for one engine.

Which is all yet another reason to use mods. A guy named TeKGameR950 made one called "item spawner". THANK YOU for the honey Tek!! I kinda feel like i'm cheating in a way by using so many mods but... those bees. ugh.

Another neato thing about mods, someone awesome named Boebi made some glass walls and floors. The glass foundations do not count against the foundation limit :D :D :D :D :D and the shark does not recognize them as food (though that be may cos of my game mode and other mods, not sure). Also, for whatever reason, those glass walls actually improve visibility, which is odd but whatever. When on the captain's deck, I can see distant islands better.

Hmmm.... sounds like you're having a bad day? I hope you have someone to talk to? Or perhaps stepping away from the internet and going for a walk might help to alleviate your mood and give you a new perspective? But why post to a forum with such a large and diverse number of people if you're having a bad day and can only cope with one word responses?

If you need people to respond within a set word limit (which frankly is more than a bit weird and definitely your issue) then perhaps you should consider specifying that. I don't mean to hurt your feelings, but surely you can see it's quite odd? Because it's far too controlling of other people and assuming you have the right to control how other people speak. Other people have zero obligation to adhere to such a weird rule.

Another mod you might like is the one called grow up, it's awesome :D :D :D :D It's the recognition and acceptance that your only right and obligation, is to control *yourself*, not other people. I have literally never seen a more obvious example of someone acting like a toddler, so congrats. lol

Hi, - Yes they buzz, bees do this. I have found that honey is really good for making bio fuel, - so I have about 9 hives. They are located at the back of my raft, close to the animals that bark and chuckle.
When I'm in front of my Raft where navigation and kitchen are, I can not hear it.
At one point I had moved some hives forward, but as you say I went crazy, so I decided to gather them where they now stand - and it works perfectly.

it has occurred to me that perhaps english is not your first language, hence your confusion. The mods I referred to, all can be used to either avoid needing to use honey, and therefore needing a hive, or work to place the hive quite far from the main part of the boat.

I hope that clears things up for you.

But you know, so far you're insulted me a number of times, so many I sorta don't feel like addressing each of them individually. I do tend to chat A LOT, hence my own high word count. You must be quite the entitled thing if you assume you have the right to demand how other people speak or to limit the number of words someone else uses. And as if that is not enough, to insist that I "go somewhere else".

Mature adults recognize that the only person we can control is ourselves. So that means, you could try controlling yourself but you don't get to tell other people what we "must" do.
