(Spoiler) Any tips for keeping the steering wheel centered?

So I built my first steering wheel and set it to what I thought was centered. A while later I realize I was going around in circles because the wheel was a tiny bit to the right. Is there some trick to keeping it dead center so you go straight?

Keep the Wheel in your Pocket.

If you rotate the wheel slowly when it gets centered you will notice it "snap" to the center position.

After you rotate pick it up and place it back. Only 100% sure way it it straight.

If you use sails, it will still move your boat, if the wind change.
