Im stuck in hardmode

i died in hardmode and got bugged under the island, my friend cant respawn me cuz of that, what do i do now?
can i load like a even further backup, thats not even in the folder anymore?
or can i change my spawn point
or can i change my difficulty to normal from hard so i can atleast respawn without my stuff
or anything? ;-;

Have your friend sail off without you. Eventually once your character is far enough away a reload should put you are raft.

Validate file. Restart Steam. Retry Game.

Hey, so apperently we all died
And we had no way to revive, so i tried it your way with the deleting file.
It worked perfectly, I was able to spawn at my raft with my whole inventory...

Buuut we died again and now, everytime i delete the file, I spawn as "Ghost" on the raft
That means my whole inventory is reset (thats not a big problem tho)
But while im in this "Ghost" modus, I cannot revive my friends, I can pick them up and stuff like this, but if I pick them up, they dont even see it and if I put them in a bed, they cannot revive...
So do you know what I can do to fix this? Ive tried almost everything for 2 hours almost :c

This "ghost" mode you talk about sounds like "noclip mode" which shouldn't be accessible in hard mode. I'm no pro with file editing so I can't help you fix this, but that is just what seems like is happening.

Dying (especially multiplaying) and Deleting files is not something to be done too often,
could corrupt player/world data.


Manually Backup the Save Files to your desktop.
Try going into Singleplayer ALONE first.
Reload an Older World file.
Respawn.
A)If able to respawn with empty inventory,
steer the raft FAR FAR away from last parked.
Save game.
Reload to see if working fine.

Then invite friends to see if they reappear.


B)If unable to respawn,
Delete \AppData\LocalLow\Redbeet Interactive\Raft\User\XXXXX\Player\RGD_Users.rgd.
Should respawn u on raft with default.
steer the raft FAR FAR away from last parked.
Save game.
Reload to see if working fine.

Then invite friends to see if they reappear.


*Recheck your settings to make sure you got the appropriate keybinds and options if you had deleted past settings.file.
