Constantly killed by invisible boar

Whenever I'm on an island, boar audio happens and I get hit by an invisible boar charge. Even on ledges that a boar could not get onto, I get attacked. I can't do anything else on the island since I keep dying to nothing.

First to discover the Invisible Boar.
Are you using a clean, un-modded default game.

Every island? can't be so many boar spawns too on every island you encounter.
Clean reinstall the game, to see if helps.

Happens if you restart the game too?

Are you sure it isn't the eagle dropping rocks on you? This happens a lot on some islands, no matter where on the island you are. And you don't see it coming unless you happen to be looking up at the time. I've been attacked by boars, but never at places where they can't go.

Yes it’s a clean, unmodded game. It seems to be only on the islands that a current boar already exists.

Yes I think it completely corrupted my save file somehow. I started a new game and it doesn’t seem to be happening yet.

It’s definitely the boar since it makes an audible boar sound right before it attacks me.

Thanks everyone for the help. My new save seems to be working so I think it was just a corrupt save file.

Wasnt a skill issue at all, it turns out. But thats quite a negative guess seeing as nothing he said shows he ever saw a boar, and it doesnt take skill to see a boar with your eyeballs.
