Water Pipes to second floor options?
Hey there!
Hoping to glean others advise on how to get water pipes to the second floor. Any tips, tricks, recommendations, 100% welcomed.

Thanks in advance!

do you want to run them under the floor or are you okay with them sitting on the floor? cause if you put a pipe on top of a pipe, they will go up, but idk if you can run a sorta "internal" plumbing system under the flooring

That's a really interesting idea! I ended up having to run the plumbing on the second floor over part of the floor. Not great but at least it's not plumbing on the floor everywhere.

It would be fantastic if pipes could run along ceilings and on walls. This would allow greater flexibility in pipe runs as well as aesthetically pleasing.

i have my lower floor as sort of an industrial area with the water purification, biofuel and farming then living, cooking and storage upstairs. have been toying with the idea of using the raised foundations to hide the pipework on the lower floor but it would mean a full rebuild... lol

you might be able to do that? try stacking the pipes on each other up the wall and then remove the lower ones and see if the upper ones stay?

I just came here to tell my issue, and how i solved it,

so in short biofuel creation has to be done 3rd floor on the raft and couldnt add walls to the vertically placed pipes, however i remembered the detail plank and it worked despite the ugly different looking floor
