Can't seem to find eggs?

I've read that now you need to catch some little birdy thing on an island and raise it and itll lay eggs for you. I have neverr seen such a birrd. Only pelicans and Screecherrs. Any help?

there are no pelicans. you need to find Cluckers, it's a weird looking turkey/chicken

Sorry I meant Seagulls. But yeah Ive been playing for over 30 hours i think now and have never seen a Clucker wth?

Yeah it's bad luck just look for more big islands, it's random, there are different kind of animals, sometimes there won't be any clucker on a given island

Ok thanks, I just got a mod that adds more rare animals and you can also increase the number of animals on the islands so i might use that if i dont find one soon lol. The dang egg is the last thing i need to complete all research.
While I have you here... the green dots on the radar are large islands correct?
