Whats your biggest build in survival mode?

Wondering what other players have created for large builds in survival mode?

Currently in co-op survival working on a super carrier. Having some fps issues but I just removed roughly 800 temporary column supports which raised fps about 25%. They were in place to build the different decks on one small section of the ship. Sure wish I'd realized small columns gave 100% resources back compared to the 50% large columns give back but at least we'll save ourselves from having to gather another 4000 scrap.

You can use mods, so that you do no have to use columns that may help with fps. Do a search and you should find the site pretty easy.

Personally, enjoys compact, efficient and easy accessible in few steps, than
redundant running over long distances for little purpose/

I amended the post to include a link to several screenshots. You can also just do a screenshot search for "Nimitz". The ship is in an early stage of construction. Maybe 20% done. Still need to add the bow, stern, and most of the hangar deck, galley deck, and flight deck.

As for the running, that's what zip-lines are for. When I do run from front to back it does take awhile. The ship Is long enough that the islands disappear before the back of the ship passes by.

Ya well using mods would take away from the achievement of building it. If we just wanted to build it easily we could switch to creative mode.

Also you don't have to use any columns. You can build with them and then once you have the upper floor in place you can take all the columns out if you choose. Its a little more work though.

Foundation footprint is like 22x6, with the roofs coming off of it, the first floor is roughly 35 x9 ish

I'm on that same mission. Trying to keep the raft as tiny as possible while still having everything on board.
