My experience with Vasagatan (Spoilers!)
I'm so incredibly stupid!

I had decided I was going to comb through it, not missing a single thing. But then I get stuck...I can't get up to the top because I need a bomb and I'm missing the lighter, but I can't get in to the room with the lighter because I'm missing the green key, and I can't get the green key because I need to get into the study which requires the key card.

I comb through the whole ship again, can't for the life of me find the key card. I even google it. It'says it should be in the room with the code, and I already have the code... I go back to the room where I thought I found the code, there's nothing there. I watch a youtube video to see what the room, that the key card should be in, looks like. I am in the right room...but there's no key card...

I decide to search the entire ship again, starting from the back of it.

On my way back out I pass the door to the study, I look at it, read the text that comes up, "Use key card"... Not "Requires 1 key card", it says "USE key card"! I had it on me that entire time!!!

So I eventually manage to get all the way up to the top, being extremely thorough, and very careful not to miss anything.

But when I've collected "all" the notes, I still don't get the achievement for it. After all the times I went back to comb through the ship before I don't know how I could've missed a note. But I decide to search through the ship AGAIN!

I can't find the note.

I find a Reddit thread where each note's location is listed and go through them one by one. Still can't find it. I check Steam again to see if I've gotten the achievement. NOPE.

I go through the Reddit list again, and find it. At the bottom of the locker that you need the bolt-cutters for. I'd already unlocked it and gotten everything else in it, but somehow I hadn't seen the note!

I had also gone past that locker already X amount of times when I searched through the ship for it as well as for that bloody key card. And somehow I didn't see it!

Well hey at least I'll never get lost on the cruise ship ever again, and I know exactly where the Lurker spawn points are xD ♥♥♥♥ me...

That's some bad luck you got there. Hopefully you don't have to comp thru Balboa like that. :lunar2020playfuldog:

I really hope not, that was torture! It really made me apreciate the game design though, all the details, and I now quite like the Lurkers (after killing 52 of them xD). I'm really looking forward to Balboa! :steamhappy:

Just so you know, Balboa is designed to spawn in direction that is against the wind so you'll need to use engines (1 per 100 foundations) or fair number of paddles to reach it.

Anyway, good luck and have fun! :wftohappy:

Ooh I didn't know that, thank you! That will be difficult!

if you are patient, Balboa occasionally appears "almost" exactly 90 degrees to starboard(right).
when that happens, you can "SAIL" to within easy view of it before 1 - 3 paddles are needed to get to a good beach mooring.
