How did you kill the white screecher?
Wasted over 30 metal arrows and not a single hit. I have managed to kill about 20 of the standard ones but this one is bugged for me. Battled it for an hour and managed to get only 1 melee hit.

I mean, just hit it a guess? Not sure how you fight them, but I just wait for them to get pretty close and shoot em. I'm pretty sure the white sreecher is the same as regular ones.

I dont know why it took me so long. Managed to hit 2 arrows out of 40 and 3 melee hits.

Nice. The white screecher's hitbox is smaller, I think. It also has less health, and gives less resources than a normal screecher. So fighting it has its ups and downs.

get up as HIGH as you can so you can see him land so you know which way he is coming from.
wait till hes is almost directly above you, then shoot and jump.
never takes me more than 12-15 arrows and 5 minutes to kill him.

Yea thats the strategy that i applied when fighting the standard screechers but this one was tough. In the end i managed to defeat it on the highest hanging bridge.

Do enough damage to bring it's HP down to zero.

It does sound like some kind of bug tbh. My fight with it was very comparable to an ordinary screecher.

its hitbox is definitely wonky.
on a regular screecher, i could usually get a far hit and a close hit on each pass. sometimes even a rare mid hit.
but i cant hit the white one at ANY distance except directly overhead.
they arent at ALL similar for me anyway.

If I remember he didn't cause em much problems. But getting up high will definetly help.
