Well with the "OP WEAPON" of the item spawner mod, it's able to kill them but will on strike just delete them i just found out.

They are for aesthetic appearance only at the moment.

Imagine the outrage of the animals activist groups if they allowed you to kill Dolphins, Whales, Turtles for meat. These are protected animals and lot of controversy over killing whales over seas.

I doubt they will ever allow you kill these animals for meat.
