hello i keep randomly teleporting from the first island to the middle of the sea out in nowhere everytime i start a new game

It is likely because you are getting separated from your raft. If you leave your raft and it goes far away, all the islands around you despawn. Basically, just don't abandon your raft; make anchors.

World only exist certain radius around your raft. If raft moves far enough away from things, they will despawn, including but not limited to island you might be standing on and as island no longer exists you'll end in water. To prevent this, always anchor your raft in place when leaving your raft for any reason.

Even having your raft stuck against the rocks/shore isn't necessarily safe. I've done that, and ended up in the OP's same position. Happily, one can die and respawn on the raft. (Hope you set things up where you keep your inventory on death)
