PLEASE tell me it's on the to-do list?
(oh, I died, revert back and pretend it didn't happen)
Even a periodic 5 minute autosave type deal would be enough. (or configurable in options)
But that's fair enough, I'll hold off on buying for now. But it's on my wishlist and I'll be tracking it's progress to see if it ever gets it.
I am not sure about that. I was playing with a friend last night, for about 3 hours. Then he suddenly dc'ed. When he came back he had his entire inventory intact.
Host can manually save as often as he likes and this has no effect on the other players.
Or are you worried that your host is forgetful?
Just have the host save on every raft and island until it becomes a habit for him.
I'm sorry but in this day and age that's not really acceptable.
I'm not putting money down on a game that loses progress when it crashes, when a simple autosave would suffice.
Crashes are a part of early access/alpha, I get that. But it shouldn't be a players job to remember to MANUALLY save, we passed that over a decade ago, I've been PC gaming since the 90s. So trust me, I know manual saving and thank god we left that relic behind, manual saving is welcome in RPG's, where "save scumming" could be at thing, not parked on your backside on a raft lol.
That's why I've chosen to not purchase the game at this time. Thanks for understanding.
