Metal detector problem
I can't craft a metal detector, and I have a blueprint for it and when I put it to the table it shows me that it's learned. It doesn't show up in the crafting menu.

Have you actually researched the metal detector on the research table? Picking up blueprint only unlocks research on research table. You haven't had to use the blueprint on research table for long time, the item unlocks on research table the moment you pick the blueprint up.

I'm not talking about the blueprint. Have you actually researched the metal detector on the research table? Go thru the list of items you've unlocked on the research table and find the metal detector in the list.
