Your game version does not match host

I bought 2 copies of this so my sons can play together. They both have the same version (13.01 - 6925537), but whenever they try to join a game, they get an error that the version does not match the host (it does).

Any idea what could be wrong?

Hi,

I emailed Redbeet about this issue on the 24th May as my friend and I had the same error. I received a reply on the 27th stating:

"We are aware of the issue but sadly we do not have a solution just yet. :( We will keep looking into it and work on a solution as soon as possible!"

I am hoping they will find a solution soon.

I found a solution. You have to not join in this manner. You have to use the steams friends list and invite them to play, then go into the game and search for the world to join. JJoining a world already in progress from steams friends list results in the error.
