Are reinforced foundations immune to shark attacks now?
Just curious if you reinforce a foundation or net with metal will it be immune from future shark attacks assuming everything is reinforced. Also if all the outer tiles are reinforced will the shark move towards attacking the inner non-reinforced planks?
Just learning what I can before my wife and I restart a game and go crazy with new designs based on this info. Thank you!

All you need to do is fortify border tiles of foundations, shark will not eat it nor the inner tiles.

Yeah I was looking at that and didn't see anything about changes to the UI (last I recall it could attack reinforced foundations)

A few weeks ago I reinforced the outer nets of my net grid and haven't lost a single one on the edge or in the (un-enforced) center area since.
So I think i'm 100% shark damage free now.

As long as the complete outside is reinforced the inside of your raft is completely safe!

What about the holes on the inside? (like with locating the engines in the middle of the raft)

If the hole is under a certain size, the shark won't target it. I have a line of 3 engines in a gap in the middle of the raft with a space on the outside and back of it(2x10) and it does not get attacked.
