String Lights?

mine remain OFF no matter what i do so far.

They aren't very bright but the bulbs should be visibly lit. As far as I'm aware there is no on/off, I have several set up.

Lights in game are always on, nothing to turn off/on. When you place a lantern, fire basket, etc they are always lit.

they dont work in new creatives....
so i dont know.

If it isn't bright or glowing, its surrounding objects (tools/walls/pillars) may be a hinder,
similar to shines of torch sticks.

Rotate, shift angle, place elsewhere, or
move around/away some neighboring objects to see if changes.

The stringlights do not illuminate their surroundings like a lamp does.

But they are visible from a long distance at night,
and you can put up a lot of them without hurting your fps.

yea i've been trying to get anything out of them. not a single string of lights works in my worlds :(

no idea why. i have strung them up everywhere and still nothing.

or do they not even have the slightest yellow in it.

Should show us a screenshot of what you are seeing, and meaning of ' nothing ',
hope you aren't comparing it to torches that burns brightly and brightens up an area.

If in the case of no ' yellow ' glow at all,
Is there some graphical options/settings/conflict preventing that in the background.

The stringlights do have a small glow around them, but that does not light up anything if that glow hits a wall or something. Just tested it with highest gfx settings to be sure.

btw; It's the same with candles, although the candles glow area is much bigger.

verify your local file integrity i've never seen those light not glow at all.
