Seagulls attacking crops
So... the patch says this had some sort of fix? What fix is it? My garden is in a sealed room (all wood walls, ceiling, door is always closed after entering or leaving) yet the seagulls still attack quite frequently through the wall. =(

I have a 13 x 5 indoor farm with beehives / zoo sharing one space and 8 window walls and no seagulls attacking it.

Are you sure you're not using half wall instead of window wall and no opening of any sort?

have you updated the game via steam?

verify your local file integrity?

Oh you bring up a good point. So I have half walls and on top of the full walls to increase the height of the room. Then the half walls are connected to roof pieces. Can seagulls pass through half walls?

maybe my beehives / zoo have no half walls and no seagull issues, I have no scarecrows but I do have 2 bird nests (far from them, they are at front of my raft), don't think that affect it

but doesn't hurt to try put down some nests on raft away from your beehives

Ok! Was able to fix it. I put a single floor only around the immediate wall, at the top of the tall walls, and seagulls are now staying out. And the raft now has a nice "loft" for me to add even more to the garden.

ok mine doesnt work. I have fully enclosed area full walls roof with animals above it and small room below them with the crop plots. The seagulls fly through the grass and the floor to the first floor/ raft floor to where the crop plots are and start attacking my crop plots. I first had window walls thought that was the issue so tore them down and replaced them all with completed walls. still no go.
Try place your beehives / plots NOT on foundation level.

Its funny how at one point a crew of mine put up like 20 scarecrows surrounds beehives and they are gone within an hour / another time another 20 scarecrows got eating by league of seagulls while offline (literary, came back load save all heads and arms gone lol)

Being on my third new game I am at a point where the dev's should not have to require this anymore. Bug fixes should be retroactive. I know, high expectations.

So people don't want seagulls to be able to fly into sealing rooms...but they want to be able to grow crops with no access to direct sunlight...
I think if they are going to "fix" one thing, they very much need to "fix" the other.
