game crashes and file probably got corrupted

when I joined in the server, the game crashed and probably corrupted . The host is fine by himself but not working when I joined server. my friend even tried repair it but nothing.

is there way to fix it?

Just to understand,
were you able to play join, play normally before encountering ' crash ',
did you died or bad exit in some odd ways, or while interacting with interactive objects like the ' storage box '.

Quite hard to fix something without some relevant details.

When I joined his server, the game freeze and crashes. my friend is the host. He was fine until I joined his server and it crashed.

Unless its something to do with ' your ' system, hardware, security and network/ connectivity, and host's that requires own troubleshooting,

if you hadn't actually haven't even played his world, or died in there,

could only try,
AppData\LocalLow\Redbeet Interactive\Raft\User\User_XXXX\Player
move to desktop,
Steam Raft Library Properties, validate files,
Restart Steam,
Retry invitation.

In regards to the word ' corrupted ', if still unable to join, it isn't corrupted files.

Could always test out by asking Host to invite ' another user ' to join, to see if the error lies with the Host, you or everyone.

No point in ' doing that ' if its still the same system, sets of processes and background apps, and exactly the same game data.

Should be looking at both your file integrity, conflicting and background applications, connectivity and security issues, ' third party' injected files, graphical and audio driver issues, system power, ... etc

Oddly i seem to have the exact same problem. When i host and someone joins into my game - my game freezes and it cannot be played. The people that tried to join say they get a blue screen:

I tried to join another friend's world and there were no problems.

Yes. That’s what I’m taking about! I got freeze like this! Hope they fix it. I didn’t explore new islands yet
