Backpack Schematic?

In my first playthough. I was able to craft a backpack. In my second one, its been 30 hours of gameplay and I still cannot find the Backpack Schematic. Any tips?

You need to research in the research table: Leather, rope and wool and you should be able to research it. I think there is no blueprint for the backpack, it's in the research table from the beginning.

I don't remember there being a schematic about it. I think you can research it in the research table as soon as you get the materials: rope, leather, wool. So basically after you visit the radio tower and unlock big islands spawning.

Oh that explains a lot... I bet I researched leather and wool without paying attention cause I was still learning.

First time is usually more stressful, especially in survival games(you pay extra attention to food and water) and one can miss a lot from the mechanics of the game.

thats true. I rushed my Tec cause half my mind was split thinking about how to get copper and iron without dying. and how to get food and water, lol

I spent the first hour of Gameplay with no Research Table because I was so preoccupied I couldnt even look in my build menu.
