How about someone who can actually answer what I asked? Next!
I did tell you how you need to get screecher killed and you had enough time to search Raft Wiki, you'd notice this part:
"Nothing will attack the player or raft, including Seagulls attacking the player's Crop Plots and Sharks biting Foundations. Sharks and Poison-Puffers won't defend themselves, while Warthogs and Screechers will attack once in retaliation. Poison-Puffers will not explode. Lurkers will attack normally in retaliation. The Screecher is hard to hit because usually strategies include waiting for it to attack to be able to hit it, and since it doesn't attack the strategy is nullified. The Shark will also continue swimming, ignoring the player.
Achievements can easily be obtained in Peaceful mode, with the threat of all hostile creatures removed."
Your only route is taking pot-shots in hope you hit him and he comes in retaliation.
a ' wide ', ' high ' elevated platform,
dock by the island,
within its flight range.
would come in handy as your firing range.
Excessive labor work for the ' persistent ' just to take down a Screecher.
Peaceful for a reason, no aggressiveness, so it doesn't even notice your presence to come nearer compared to the harder modes.
Yeah, I figured this, but like I said when I hit the one screecher he flew away and didn't come back. And it takes more than one hit to kill them. Ah well. Maybe I will try a a harder mode just so I can get that achievement.
Actually the only things that attack me in peaceful mode once I hit them are the Lurker, Mama Bear, Bee Swarm (does still sting you), and Warthog. I can't remember offhand if the regular bear attacks, but I do remember the Mama bear was getting pretty ticked off at me. The Screecher that I hit with that one lucky shot never retaliated. It flew off and never came back.
When I was in Tangaroa even in peaceful mode when I attacked the Lurkers they were relentless in those tiny apartments. I mean yeah I could've left them alone, but..achievements you know. lol
Like I told the other poster; I guess I will have to start up another mode for the Screecher. That sucks because being a single player it's going to make it complicated, but I will give it a try.
