I wouldn't waste them on fuel. Get chickens and use the eggs for that. Like 5 or 6 eggs for empty-to-full and 3-4 for refills. They work well. 2 chickens (per processor if you have more than 1) will give you enough.
One issue I have with strawberries so far is that the seed drop rate is "1 or less" and I've been having about an 75% 1-seed drop rate. The result is that eventually I will no longer have any seeds to plant. That said, I may just be clueless on how I might get seeds from the fruit (would be thankful if this were the case and someone could enlighten me).
One thing I DID note (before I went back in to harvest more deeper in the structure) was that once I was down to only 2 seeds, I seemed to suddenly get a 100% 1-seed drop for 4 growing cycles. Might have been dumb luck, might have been some code to prevent "strawberry extinction"... not quite sure yet, but almost back down to 2 again, so will find out soon enough.
Strawberries and Bananas aren't effective,
nothing interesting about them for now, too much effort, poor rate of return to maintain.
' does not ' add any increment to well fed.
Milk bucket are better, too bad losing the ability to stack 20s full buckets few updates back.
Still too much hassle to drink one by one.
Fish soup and stew, Head broth, catfish deluxe, fruit compost, drumstick jam are still the easier cooked meals for well fed.
