Can’t pick up items from floor

I can’t seem to pick anything up whenever I drop things on ground. I tried getting my friends to drop stuff to test it and they can pick up items just fine. It’s just my own client that doesn’t let me pick up items. I tried changing hotkeys too but didn’t work.

Any fix for this? I’m playing in a multiplayer session as host btw so idk if that matters or not for the issue.

happened to me in singleplayer. It's some sort of glitch that happens, no clue what causes it. You have to quit to main menu and reload the world, then it resets all the related code and you can pick things up again.

Ah thanks! I actually fixed it I think; had to toggle from third person back to first person and it somehow works, but then I can toggle it again for 3P and it seemed to be fixed. Maybe it is third person causing the issue at times.

Thanks for the response. I believe it is fixed now! It was an issue with third person view causing some mishaps, but I may submit a bug report for that instead.
