Animals missing after new chapter was released
I logged into my raft after the new chapter was released and noticed my 3 goats and 3 llamas were missing. The only 2 animals left were my chickens. Just trying to see if this happened to anybody else

I had a blue clucker who disappeared after the update. I caught another blue clucker around an hour ago, put it into the pen with my llama and goat and when I arrived at my next large island, that one was gone as well. Would love to know what's happening, especially since it's the rarer colours that keep disappearing D:

Two chickens and one llama lost here ... BUT we had caught them after the update released.
Friend's world - she died, saved, respawned on the raft and noticed that the animals were gone.

I lost a second goat after I captured one on the Caravan Island. What the heck devs? Are the goats jumping over my half-high fence? There are no holes, I armor-clad the entire floor. They have lots of water. What gives?
I've still got my llama and blue clucker even with half fence - id suggest making sure everything is reinforced but im not sure why theyd despawn.

the only thing i can think of is that sometimes during storms the waves get super big and wash over your raft, i know thats resulted in me getting flung overboard several times. maybe animals are getting washed out? im moving mine to my third floor just in case now that im hearing that some people are having theirs despawn

I have mine on the 2nd floor, secured and everything from the last time I played. I literally just logged in and when I checked all my animals were gone but the chickens

I have had 6 animals in my boat for ages even before chapter 2 and between all my saves I have never had an animal disappears. We have had them on the water level and on upper levels in pens. Start up the game first time for Chapter 2 and lost 5 animals right off within an hour or two. Only found one body and we were with them the entire time building and stuff. One person was always on the boat and we were moored at a small island. Got two replacement animals and one of those died as well.

No storms (which never caused issues before), used fortified decks, we use fences, have sprinklers we make sure are always good every time we leave the boat.

One thing that was noticed was that the animals were getting stuck on the sprinklers (we had them back to back) and the posts at times. We have put fencing around the sprinklers and put as few posts as we can in the pens with the animals to see if that helps.
