Sadly you cannot do something like 'setuiscale 0.15'. You also have to use the loader to launch the game everytime.
Nothing against the modders/coders, but, well, there's a difference in accountability between an established company which hopefully keeps their stuff together and some random private folks who might be of heroic character, but might also get bribed or simply forget to renew their domains... even if you are sure, that the modloader doesn't work against you today, you can't be sure for tomorrow because of the autoupdate (that you, if i saw that right, can't disable).
That makes modding Raft a nogo for me atm.
Why am i posting this?
Because having to rely on third party mods *to fix broken stuff* ingame diminishes the responsibility for the developers ("someone else fixed it, we can be lazy") and is simply unacceptable!
I had a similar problem with the sides of the questjournal snipped off and had to switch to a different aspect ratio/resolution to fix this, meaning i have to play with black bars on top and bottom of my screen.
My hope was (as this was (NO, *IS*, just checked) an ageold bug), that the devs would have fixed it with this update-12 or put something like the ui-scaler in their original software... but nooo why should we, the user can download a mod to fix our shti!
And yes, i am fully aware that the sofware is *early access*. That doesn't mean you don't need to fix KNOWN bugs (and there seem to be plenty who didn't get adressed with this update)!
Waiting another year or two for update-13 to get at least some bugfixes is, imo, unacceptable.
Just my 2c, regards, Kerulon
P.S.: As for the crafting menue overlapping with inventory: is it possible for you to switch to an item to craft that just needs 2 ingredients and thus won't obscure the inventory as much?
I can reach the top left inventory slot that way...
EDIT: typo
So the bug still exists 4+ Years later... yay!
Hope you all had a merry Christmas 2024,
regards, Kerulon
