i finished the story and since then i have gone 200 days with no /bear/plane/tugboat island.
i decided to put my sail down and within 1 hour i found a bear AND the wrecked plane.
I tried getting far away and wait a couple days (ingame) almost till the distance was 1500 in the radar. When i came back there was still no bees and beehives but of course, bears
So, should I remove the sail to find plane crashed island? Does it increase my chance to find it? or it's just your extreme luck..
you DONT need to remove the sail...just dont use it.
I found the tubgoat island with my engine going. If you want to find island with bears and pine trees, have the coordinates for Balboa in your receiver. If you want desert islands, have caravan in your receiver.
Also they fully reset once you travel beyond 2000 tiles distance.
