The seagulls are almost a reason to stop playing the game

@developer how can you prevent the gulls from flying through walls or floors and eating the harvest. I've made all sorts of structural attempts, even a room within a room. Please fix this problem if you don't have a solution for us.

I did this I haven't had any issues with seagulls getting to my flowers.

Well it depend what harvest they eat and they should definitely not eat flowers.

I play this game years ago and as i remember the scarecrow didn`t work at all and the seagull only attack them from time to time , i don`t know if the devs have fixed that mechanics to make them work.

he has more flowers than required for max yield based on your link.

the eat everything .. mellon, pineaple, potato, turnip and flowers ... flowers are my smallest problem

You`r are right they share flower who is pretty stupid mechanics by the way as when we are able to use 4 potato in a fruit complot.

Potato is not any issue mate because you are able to plant them back without any limit. These other as pineapple and melon i use only as decoration or in a food recipe just for fun.

My food is only cooked potato and fruit soup where i only use potato so basically this game here you can survive easy with only potato as food.

If you have issue with the bird then make more potato farm as 20 at least then it doesn`t matter if they eat everything from time to time because you get them fast back.

And by the way these bird pop up only when you visit a floating raft or an island so it is not a really big deal later stage

Plant your food farm nearby your main area and use bow and arrow on these bird and they give you better food as well.

The only solution to your answer is to plant out a lot of more farm , plant out at least 20 farm or more and you will see it gonna work so please give it a try mate.

You may build 6 to 8 water purifier and make sure you have at least 3 plastic bottle in you inventory all the time.

Keep your food and water bar below 50% and eat one fruit soup from time to time and now you will save some food and wood as well.

Devs have already acknowledged that the gulls are too much and generally not liked by the community in their current form (and will be getting a nerf/rework with the next update).

I have now noticed that the developers are working on this problem, at this point I would like to thank them for such a great game. For me it's not at all about the supply of food / vegetables. I have over 20 farm boxes for each crop, which is completely sufficient for me. I was just annoyed that the birds fly through everything without colliding. But now that I know that the problem is being worked on, I'm waiting for the next update. Thanks to everyone for your suggestions for solutions.
