Where exactly?
Nope. No no no. This isn't Ark or Day Z.
Fits the vibe, too, of coming together after a cataclysm and rebuilding something. PvP just wouldn't fit the game world as designed by the devs, in my opinion.
I, my brother, my other brother, my sister would have never bought SOT if there was not PVP.
summit1G wouldn't have bough the game either and the game would be dead.
There's plenty of other competitive PvP games out there, many with survival elements.
Raft honestly does not need it, nor does it fit the vibe the devs are going for.
I know I'm not alone in this. One of the biggest appeals of this game is it's "chill" feel, the non-hectic pace it sets. This has been carefully crafted and honed by the developers and seeing what they are bringing out next only seems to reinforce it further.
It's meant to be lighthearted, a sort of "redemption" in the face of disaster. It makes no sense to add a mode where you're trying to kill each other when the game is pretty clearly meant to be about trying to pick up the pieces and move on.
And story wise, both the Vasgatan and Balboa have cautionary tales of what happens when violence enters into a survival situation: no one wins.
I think that alone speaks volumes about the devs intentions and why PvP is more than likely never coming to this game.
Summit1G is a content creator. Summit1g is also boring. I dont see the fuzz. The guyu wouldnt have his fanbase if he didnt screw up a molly in his short living csgo pro carreer.
The only streamers that are big that I follow are Bahroo, Cohh, and DansGaming. These guys play games to what they are ment to be played as. They dont 'make' content persee. Summit actually looks to create content (EA Tucking in SOT). He also rants alot because people critisize him for that.
If he jump's of a bridge, will you jump of that same bridge?
If you cant make up your own opinion about if a game needs what or what, stop talking about others whom just create content for 'your' entertainment.
This just aint the game ffor you if you want to pvp. Go stick to SOT. You can pvp there. This game will be full on PVE COOP with a complete campaign which SOT doesnt have.
Also, SOT's PVE community is much much bigger then the PVE community, and SOT lost a ton of playersd ( that being an mp game only) at jan 2020...
Thief is a 2000 coop game. It has no PVP at all.
I wish people would stop using 'names' as excusis that a whole game is pvp oriented.
