No idea. Do note that it's weekend so devs may not check bug tracker on their free time, Redbeet is small indie studio of 8 people based on Sweden and devs are currently working remotely due to current world situation.
This is my first PC in maybe 15 years that I got from a friend and he factory-reset the computer (or something like that) so I know very little about this kinda stuff, the point is, PC is almost untouched and I use it exclusively for games so I don't know what is disturbing the process of it running.
Sorry for the long post. Felt a little ranty.
No problem. Where does game crash exactly? Do you get any error messages when the game crashes? Right after starting the game before main menu? In main menu? During starting or loading a game? If only loading a game, have you tried starting a new game?
Thanks for replying.
When it's in crash mood it is more a matter of time before it crashes. It can be when I open the game up and the menu is just there, me not touching anything and it freezes, I can have started a game and it freezes after loading up the game, can happen during the loading. Yesterday it crashed 1 minute after I got into the game and played a little.
Half the time it just freezes and I can't do anything but close the window, and the other half there appears a little pop-up that says something like "unity" and a long string of numbers, before the inevitable crash.
I have not started my own game, I have only joined my BF's game to play with him, so when I say "loaded up a game" it's that I'm hopping into his game.
Possible permissions issue? When you are in main menu, what does it say on the bottom left corner? Does it say Update 11 (bunch of numbers) or Version X(XXXXXXX)?

If that's not it, can you go in game, press 'o' three times to bring up performance statistics and system specifications. Take a screenshot of the information with 'F12', exit game, goto your profile in client then screenshots and click upload screenshot on the right. Upload the screenshot you took and post the link to it here.
It should show information like this:

Jesus, I can't believe so many things are not cooporating. F12 doesn't work for me. I can't take a single screenshot. X(
I did get Raft to work briefly to take a screenshot the old fashioned way.
I had to try and upload it as art, which is also the first time I've done this so I don't even know if it'll work. Sorry...
On the bottom in the corner it says Update 11 (4677160)

It could be a problem with Steam itself or some other software in the background that also uses F12 for something interfering with Steam.
Good thing is your system should be able to run the game just fine. Performance wise it falls somewhere between minimum and recommended specifications. Unfortunately it also means I can't point any obvious fault that might be the cause.
Can you play other Steam games on your computer without issues? Are your drivers up to date? Have you tried to Verify Integrity of Game Files?
No other game I have played on this PC has acted like Raft. I've played Blush Blush and Factorio, both running just fine.
I just tried to verify the Game Files and it came with "1 file failed to validate and will be reacquired"?
I appreciate you helping me. I understand it's very hard to help on the other end of a screen.
Those two are 2D games that don't really burden your Graphics Card. Have you played any other 3D games recently other than Raft?
That can probably be ignored. Most games have a file that is changed after installation so it does not match with the file in the download server.
Yeah, it's far easier when you have direct physical access to the computer having issues.
Unfortunately, I'm running out of ideas.

No, on this PC I've only played those.
Thank you anyway for your time, I really appreciate the effort.
I'll try sending in a bug report and see if it gets fixed one day.
Sorry for not being able to help
