How to protect beds from seagulls?
Hi guys,
can someone explain to me, how i can protect my small/middle beds (for melon, pineapples etc.) from the seagull without using a scarecrow?

I first build an extra room for my beds with walls, a roof and a door. i used the palm-walls, but still the seagull entered my beds.

Then i pulled down the palm walls and replaces them with normal walls. Still the same problem, the seagull flies through the wall (or the roof) and enteres my beds.

Is there a way to protect my beds properly without using a scarecrow?

Thanks in advance

My raft is 3 stories high. At first, my bees were on the sea level story and my flowers were constantly eaten. So I moved them to the 3d story : Same. So I put them on the second floor where I have my sail, receiver, chests, etc. In this room the ceiling is 1,5 high. And... tadaa, no seagull eating my flowers !

Ty dude. You mean, your ceiling is 1 normal wall and 1 small wall high?

yes 1 and a half wooden pilars high. It gives a nice spacey sensation.
Yesterday, I played more than 2 hours with no seagull attack so I thought that I had THE anti gull solution. Then today, bam, it attacked again ! No rest for the wicked <sigh>

A proper roof seems to keep them out too.
I built a room on sea level 1 wall high, then covered it with floors. The middle part was a half wall high (so I didn't need pillars). Seagulls kept coming in.

Then I covered it all with thatch roof, except the portion 1.5 high, because it was 1 tile wide and I couldn't make it nice. No more seaguls.
