Respawn?

So do things in this game respawn? Iv'e been running around Balboa for the past 2 hrs and I've only been able to find 2 cluster of bees which is adding up to 8 for me but I cant find more! NEED MORE BEES!!!!!

The main islands don't respawn but, the large random islands despawn and refresh when your raft is a certain distance away from them. So just hop on your raft and set sail in a direction.

Thanks! I tried that too and it didn't fix it! Assuming my save file is corrupt because the mama bear and the regular bears were not spawning on the new islands either, so i started a new game!

The Mama Bear won't ever respawn after she dies (she's a unique "boss mob") at least according to the wiki. And not all islands you land on will be inhabited by all the mobs. I find some with 2-3 warthogs and a screecher and some that have nothing. I believe you have to be at least 1500 "meters" away from an island for it to despawn. I also remember reading advice to just sail in a direction for about 10 minutes without landing on islands so the game will refresh itself.
