Mama Bear bug or glitch

Alright so me and my pals were playing on a game together. Then We got to Balboa Island. We tried to fight Mama Bear and we all died. We decided to fight her later and go on with our journey. We then got armored up and we were ready to fight the Mama Bear. Once we were back at Balboa, the bear was nowhere to be found. And in the berry trough there were particles as the bear was eating. We searched everywhere and its like as the bear vanished.

Does anyone have a solution for that ?

It's almost certainly a bug probably related to general disappearance of animals from islands that should have them. Was the Mama Bear only one missing or were all the other bears missing as well?
