Help! How do I water my animal?

My animal needs water. I have water in a bottle but no option to water it??

Ohhh wait, maybe it was the grass needing water and you don't need to water animals, doh!

Was it a goat? Someone asked this before but you can milk goats, you use a bucket for that but it kind of looks like you have to water them. The icon comes up when you can milk it again, same thing for llamas but with sheers for wool. Otherwise yeah, you don't have to worry about water for animals, just grass plots. Remember to restrict their area with fences as well since animals are dumb as heck currently and don't seek food and will absolutely starve to death if it just decides to not wander on top of a plot of grass to eat.

Animals will just wander off the side of your raft too, if not fenced.

Got to be careful with that cute, little picket fence, though. Goats and llamas can go right over the top during rough seas.

If you have enough pasture plots open to the sky, you can leave all the watering to nature.
