Drilling Rig is behind me, cant reach it

Hello I have a question, Im looking for the first drilling rig but I didnt got there in the right time and now its behind me... There is no new spawn like in the former versions. What can i do now?

Keep sailing and it should respawn again after sufficient distance has passed.
Or, build paddles and row like the dickens.

If you aren't very far away and have a sail you can turn that in the opposite direction to the wind. It will slow your raft down a lot. Then you can make paddles and paddle like those arms were build for it.
