Giant Bear
so i was at this huge island when doing the storyline and i met a giant bear at Balboa island so my question is, can i kill it and if so is it worth it? What do i get from it?:steammocking:

You are supposed to put 5 berries in a box near her. This will distract her so you can safely pass. I never tried to kill her so i dont know if it's even possible.

you can kill her ez, you need to sniper her from a distance (ca 20-30 arrows)... a lot of meet and leather aaaand STEAM Achievement

their is a achievement for killing mama bear! i've already killed a few bears so their must be one that's different a.k.a mama bear

I killed her today, using a basic bow and metal arrows. Everywhere I've read said 30 metal arrows but I put about 50 in her face before she died. I got 15 leather and 10 meat from her, as well as the "Mother Load" achievement. I used this video as a guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9h3EyTg4IhE
