Raft
Biofuel / honey
it came to my attention that the biofuel can only be make with a mix with raw food and honey.
food is easy but they honey runs out fast. is it only obtainable on the big island?
you cant produce it on your raft can you?

I don't know if you can produce it (probably not) but you can visit Balboa island again and pick up some honey again...

There are new "big islands" that have the same flora as Balboa (+bears of course) that you can discover using the receiver the same way as other big islands.

They have honey on them + pine and birch trees to cut + bears(but not mama bear).

There are 2 types of the new big islands and 4 type of the old big islands, so the chance is you get the old one's more often.

I got a similar problem. Here is, what I've done, to "fix" this:
The new islands seem to spawn only behind or beside you, but not in front of you. I turned my raft 90 degree to port, set sail in that direction and the very first island i found, was the bear one.
After that, I found a few small, normal ones, but the next big island (a bit to my port side) was another bear-one. You should try this. I don't know, if it is always the case, but for now, it worked so far.. :)
