Anyone managed to kill the Mama bear ?

Shot her full of arrows the thing will not die. I might have been resetting her health though because she ran back to the cauldron of berries from time to time.

You need to place 5 wild berries into a basket from bushes you find on balboa. Then she comes and eats at the basket :)

J'ai le même problème que YuiAkisaka. Impossible de prendre les baies. Elles disparaissent de l'arbre mais il n'y a rien dans l'inventaire. Je ne l'ai pas compris tout de suite et j'ai ramassé quasiment toutes les baies. Je suis bloquée.

The problem we are facing is that wild berries cannot be picked up, it disappears after being picked up. I donno if that is BUG or i collected it in wrong way(needed any equip to pick them up)

They are a quest item. They should not show in your inventory. Check your journal.

So im a bit late here but I just managed to kill her and it takes a lot of arrows I also just kept shooting her and she would run back to her original position but after a while she died. Just bring two bows and about 60 arrows and keep on shooting her.

She might be regenerating health when she runs back but not instantly, I managed to shoot her once or twice on her way back every time so even if she was regenerating that kept her low i guess.

I think they fixed it. I also couldn't get the berries yesterday - I picked them but they disappeared. But there was another fix today and now they appear in the journal :)

Me and a friend was up against the MAMA bear and for your information it took about, 20 stone arrows and 30 metal or something... (we also threw a bunch of stones at her)... she didnt seem to regenerate aswell as we went back one last time and at that time she was oneshot by one metal arrow...

I just killed the Mama Bear and for me, all it took was time and decent aim. There is a series of rocks along the edge of the island a bit beyond the berry bin. It actually leads up to a path that goes to Station 6; that's how I found it, by coming downhill from Station 6 (before the cave entrance) while exploring. When you stand on these rocks, you can see the berry bin between two trees. Aim a bit above Mama's head and you can shoot her from a distance. I discovered that by standing far enough away on this series of rocks, I was able to shoot her without running. She would run towards me and I would get a second shot off, then she would turn around and run back to the bin. I never took damage from her once. I had 60 arrows with me total and 9 after the fight was over, but I missed her once, so I'm thinking it takes 50 metal arrows to take her down.

What really helped was the fact that there was a white branch in the treeline, so every time she ran back to the bin, I aimed for that white branch and the arrow would arch and hit her in the back while she was eating. I do not believe that the berries do anything for her health-wise, they just seem to help you as a distraction.

It took me around 50 metal arrows as well (I had almost 100 with me and missed quite a few times).
I was on the path looking up at her and the berry bin. I was far enough away to have to aim above her for the arrow to hit her. So every time I fired I would start running backwards down the path and kept firing (the path was long enough to not get blocked). After around 3 or 4 arrows shot at her she would be far enough away from the berry bin to go back to it again and leave me alone. I managed a few times to get her on the way back to the bin (she didn't seem to notice). It took quite a few repeats to kill her though.

*Berries do not go in bag you just need to go to berry barrel with enough and drop them in, there are tons around the island, I know I collected at least 8 before trying. Also bears health does not regen, just takes tons to kill. I ran out of arrows and died using spear, took cooking/health break and went back, died again and on 3rd round stabbed her twice with speak and was done.....
