If not try restarting steam. You will need to let Balboa unload and reload though.
No, no bears either. Ive closed out the game several times since i first landed there, but i guess i havent closed steam all the way. i will try that before i play again, thank you!
Because the island seems to not get properly updated with bees, if you have already been on said island, when the update happened.
In that case, you would have to leave the island with your raft, so that it gets unloaded from the memory...
1.) If you have, then you have to know, that there are not on EVERY honeycomb bees, you'll find some single honeycomb areas with no bees on top of them.
2.) Bee swarms are not always above the ground (i.e. only in few moments, which makes it a chore to catch them...), so if you find a honeycomb area, take a good look at the sky above that area...
A strange thing, for me, i searched big islands for stuff, and i always found them full of bees and honeycombs .
Of course, i have beehives with 3 honeycombs each, so plenty of honey, but i miss some stuff to make more fuel, like boars for theyr head, puffy fishes.
Certainly i have to travel more and more, until i find a regular big island.
