Saying that you would like to over and over again year after year doesn't help. If you would like to then you would. Any game nowadays that skimps on HID support is pure junk. You sell to humans and the goal is to sell more, so it is pure idiocy to not support as many HID's as possible.
Don't be sorry, just support as many HID's as possible in order to sell to as many humans as possible. They're shorting themselves on funds to advance the game by not supporting as many Human Interface Devices as possible since they sell to humans. It's really just that simple.
This is my config for an Xbox One controller. And the sensitivity can be altered in the activator settings.
That is the only official answer given by the developers so that is the information I will quote until new information is provided.
There is going to be Developer Live Stream sometimes in near future (no date set yet) and you can post question for it on Raft Discord![discord.gg] in #dev-stream. Maybe they'll give an updated answer then if enough people ask for it.
Thank you for the reply. There are many, most likely (myself sometimes included), that they just don't buy unless they see partial or full controller support. I hadn't until now as well but figured I'd give it a try since I seem to be proficient with AntiMicro. I've done it with other games but it is a hassle. Native support is so much better and brings in purchases that you can't see toward the "enough people asking" numbers.
Note, it's not just Raft, I've been tough on other games for lack of HID support. If you are selling to humans just give them as many HID's as possible. You'll sell more, feedback numbers or not.
IMHO, Thanks for the ear.
I have asked on their discord and got extremely rude answers that answered nothing, got a whole list of ignorant A-holes just slyly saying people should use google or look for themselves rather than politely asking a question about the game. And to add to this i asked if controller support would be added when it was first released and they said they would like to add this in the future, that was 2 YEARS ago.
Thanks for posting this, looks like a solid config. How exactly to I make this my configuration? It say preview.
