Can't find animals

I beat the chapter 1 story and have been going to large island after large island. I have yet to come across a single animal on the large islands besides bears. I am going to both blue and green dots on the receiver. Am I missing something?

usually the second code includes two spots, one is a big ship and other a large island where you find puffer fish. there should be at least two animals you can capture unless u killed them all

I too cannot find any animals other than bears. I've been to the radio tower, Balboa, the Vasagatan, and three other large islands and a bunch of small islands. There are no puffer fish or llamas or goats or screechers or anything, just Bruce, seagulls, and lots of bears.

Is this a glitch?

There are also no schools of fish. Do I have to start a new game?

If you're seeing bears, you're on the wrong type of large island. You want the ones that don't have the vegetation that Balboa island has.

Im having the same issue, i'll have to try and go further out to distant islands i suppose, but there seems to be a glitch with animal spawns as of right now where seagulls sharks bears and lurkers spawn but goats lamas cluckers and puffers do not. It also seems to be triggered by events on the large bear island as they all spawned just fine before arriving there and completing the puzzle.

not quite what i was meaning, it turns out restarting my computer fixed it, but occasionally when i play loading into a bear island area both the story one and the random ones it will cause the normal large islands to stop spawning animals.

Just got a clucker and goat from one island.. got lama and clucker in another playthrough. It's a pity the non collectable animals dont respawn. Got 3 lamas on one island and 2 cluckers.

Save and exit game, then reloading it fixes this for me.

Having the exact same issue. Island after island there are no animals. Resources are there. Bees, mushrooms, trees, etc. No puffer fish, cluckers, screechers, llamas, etc. No problem with Bruce and seagulls. But all the islands are devoid of animal life. Seems to be a bug.
