I found a lucky cat at 1304. It's in a cracked door labled supply closet. I don't think you can get it though.

I found it on a stuck yacht in a bathroom, but can't get there.

you can get them by fishing the one's in the yacht and places you see them can't be picked up best of luck getting an lucky cat there pretty rare item to get from fishing just keep at it you will get one :)

I don't know what the random % are for non-fish items, but so far I've had 3 lucky cats vs 2 candles and 1 shoe.

not sure about .68%. While I'm fishing for Catfish or Salmon I always seem to catch one or two within the life of an upgraded fishing pole, whats the use for these anyway besides hogging up shelf space? I have one on the shelf and usually just throw all others in the trash.

I usually just make a collection room with the cat, robots, paintings, animal heads etc. I'll keep all that in a chest until I can make a room.

I was so unlucky to find the lucky cat :(

I hooked one barrel and the lucky cat name appeared in the list of loot that you see in the right corner when you snatch a barrel.
But the lucky cat got dropped cause I had no inventory space :( :( :(
and it fell into the ocean
It was so sad
felt like the last scene of Titanic all over again

so you couldn't jump out to grab it, because you had to be like Kate Winslet "theres no space on this big raft!!!"

Well i like to have a full food storage, and sincer last game was on hard (so i didnt kill the shark for meat) i Fished a lot
