Thanks, that will work.
No, have not crafted one. But I guess a sail or a paddle or even an engine would work. Thanks.
Is it possible for the raft to get unstuck on its own? I only have 1 plastic left, and nothing is floating towards the island I'm on.
If they would keep the debris floating, anybody would be able to get out of this situation. That was literally my only problem, a lack of plastic to make the paddle. What I find ironic, is on another world where I intentionally landed on an island. My raft started to float off without me... x_x
Before you go exploring islands you NEED to craft an anchor(the bucket one works for start) and use it. Crafting a paddle just in case is also a good idea.
Considering my first raft got stuck on its own, I thought I might be okay. Sure was surprising to see it floating past the island I was on.
downsized to only 8 foundations and still can't paddle out of there
update: a storm made it go inside the island, I'm waiting for it to glitch out on the other side :)
i NEVER had an issue paddling away from ANYwhere.
i managed to kill the shark 1 time (died about 20) lol
but my raft drifted to an island, and i used my only 4 stones to make a 1-time-use anchor
but then never found any stones to make an axe,
so i managed to get a few materials for a few bricks
but once you anchor, no more debris was floating, so i grabbed what i could but there wasnt enough wood planks to even make a paddle, and the raft wouldnt move at all when i removed and lost the anchor.
so im basically in a cycle, of only being able to collect and plants when they respawn, or get killed with thirst/hunger or shark :)
we should at least be able to push it :)
but i think at least every island should have stone, even just enough to be able to craft an axe.
I guess it's like that other person posted, you shouldn't explore islands until you have a few paddles and some anchors.
