A problem with Master survivor achievement

Where can I check my progress in this achievement? I've played the game for 194 hours already and still haven't got that achievement... Any ideas why? I'm trying hard to avoid being killed by the shark, I go to sleep at night...

Hey, it might help to craft a "calendar" and put it on a wall on your raft. This will display the "Days survived" as number. I'm not sure if the achievement must be done on one single save or if it resets for each save.

Thanks. It helped - I didn't notice there was a calendar. It shows 250 days.

Well now all we need is a kind developer or a newer player without so many days and we can find out if the calendar resets.

They do! It’s currently 365 in the same save game, but I can see this is a bit harsh - I’ll talk with the team about making days go across saves :)

So that is the reason why I haven't got this achievement yet. I lost my previous raft after 118 hours of playing due to some bug / problem :(

Err not so fast. IMO the idea of an achievement is developing skills. Staying alive in one save pushed me to consider risk as I got closer to the magic number.

If you want to talk with the team about an achievement change; the hooking 5k items in anything but a shadow way is beyond reasonable. Sure I got it by taking advantage of a game quirk, but I would rather get it by hooking items from the stream. IMO, and based on my normal counts, 500 is closer to right within the 365. Other than the achievement, hooking is not needed after you have catch nets.

Maybe, since it is Alpha and some people get trashed due to a glitch, a player could have multiple saves and a tool to get at them. That way if a raft is lost, rather than losing everything up to that point, they could load the last save (or 2) before the poof.

Honestly the achievement, Master Survivor, should be around half the associated time. As it stands I log in and sit around and wait for time to pass. I have no threats, I won't ever run out of food. I don't even bother to stop at islands any more.

please not, or make ONLY the Days for the archivement crossing. Would be strange to start with hundrets of days as Death is Death player
