Save file location?
I want to free up some space in my HDD and also wait for the game to have more contents before continuing play. Can I store my save file some where else and paste it on the game folder late when I reinstall the game? It's possible, where is the save file location?

From the FAQ:

“Where are saved games located?”
C:\Users\[Your username]\AppData\LocalLow\Redbeet Interactive\Raft\User\User_[SeamUserID]\World

Do note that any major update to the game is likely to break backward compatibility with old saves.

Can we start using namespaces, instead of [Your username]?

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\LocalLow\Redbeet Interactive\Raft\User
and then the 'User_[SeamUserID]\World' as described

Also note that the "World save" and the "Character save" are stored in different files;

The character is save under; .../User_[SteamUserID]/Player/
The World is saved under; .../User_[SteamUserID]/World/

Be careful when messing with save files. If you load world/player files saved at different times after moving items to and from the character, items can disappear (ask me how i know) and if the raft you stood on when saving was moved, you'll still be be spawned in at that spot.

Whats the point of waking up such ' Old dated posts of half year ago' with
some information that ' only you had just found out about now',
already solved, informed and forgotten.

Next time try, being earlier to the party.

Why post the same thing twice? Why complain about it? The answer doesn't incorporate Linux.

No it does, it could be 6 MB.

Honestly though the audacity of someone being such a selfish miserable jerk to actually complain about replying to a thread that they could easily unsubscribe from also further contributing to said thread with their complaint about it all is phenomenal, ironic, and idiotically stupid.

You can find where the save files are here
Also the new save files are in C:\Users\[Your username]\AppData\LocalLow\Redbeet Interactive\Raft\Unity\[A bunch of random letters and numbers]
:)
