Antenna altitude
More confusion here. My receiver say that I have the wrong altitude.

"reciever too low"
"antenna too close"
"antenna is wrong altitude"

ergh!!

They all have to be on at least the second floor, and at the same height.

I built a tower the size of Babel, placed three antenna and got 'Requires more altitude' which suggests it needs to be higher. There was no affordance to suggest the reciever needs to be at altitude, in fact the massive trailing cables suggest otherwise. Dont like this, needs a bit of antennation from the devs methinks.

the reciever and attennas have to be on the same story and BOTH the reciever and attena have to be on the second level or higher (i've always used the second level)

so if your reciever is on the second story the attennas have to be there too. needs 3 attenna and 1 reciever. At least 3 blocks apart from each other (including from the reciever) so a minimum of a 7 x 4 second story is required

Yeah, as Chief said that right before my post - what are you adding?
Well, I didn't add the part about them having to be three blocks apart from each other.

So he's right--you can't just make a one-by-one tower and stick your antenna on it.

Well, you can... I did, because it looked cool, but it doesn't work.

A shoutout to everyone here who saved me from building a 6 story tower only to have it not work... Put all 4 radio components on second floor and you're good to go. Where the atennas are is what should matter, not where the control box is. But hey, we're also making circuit boards out of seaweed goo and copper from shallow water that was smelted on a floating raft...
