Shark head do anything?
Wearing the shark head on my head, does it add a defence against sharks or anything?

No, but it looks cool. plus, you can make it into a trophy to display on your wall.

u can wear it as a head item, like the oxygen. when in water and wearing the shark head plus have a speer in hand, shark wont attack you (stops 1cm in front of you). but he will return every 30 seconds. and you gotta face his front or he attacks. sometimes you need to do a stab into the water in front of him too.

Didn't noticed any difference with the shark, while wearing for testing purposes. If there is, is too subtle.

I believe that is just a gimmick. You look funny to others, and will reduce you first person view.

When diving around an island, the Shark didn't seem to want to hunt me down when I was a good distance from the raft. It was a different story once I was in visual range, but the amount of "shark free" time was noticeably different. Could just as well have been a fluke, however... further testing required.

heads are the best biofuel . dont trow them away like i did . keep em for fuel .

I know this thread is old, but I've just started playing this game and have been tossing the extra heads I get (I tend to just kill the shark for some shark-free scavenging dives). Super glad I read this as I've just upgraded to engines and have been looking for a more efficient way to create biofuel.
