Ive been pretty addicted to it since I got it two days ago. It looks great, doesn't have too many bugs, and a good amount of content for a game just recently released in early access. Can't wait to see where it goes and what content is added! I'd say yes

Are we playing the guessing game? What site?
In my opinion, yes, it's worth it if you're ready to play it further than the four hours it takes to finish the story. Accounting for it being in early access, there will be more content to come for sure. If you finish it in 2 hours you can refund it on steam anyways.

If worth it for you is tons of ingame content ARK-like to play a few thousand hours, no, but worth it in the way it is refreshing new genre survival with great potential without really competitors, yes I think, at least I hope !

Just to remember the game is pre alpha so not even yet in Alpha stage so it much like a proof of concept as of writing and probably far to be complete

Itch.io is safe for the most part. The version of Raft on Itch.io is really outdated with about 1/5 of the content in the paid version. Plus the Itch.io version isn't getting any updates, while the one on Steam is going to be given updates often.

I'm sure the devs are putting alot of love and a decent amount of work into this but € 20? Sorry but i'll pass. It looks extremely... shallow for that price.

For that money you could buy Subnautica, for example. One of the best games ever created imho, and it doesn't look like it's flim-flammed together in a garage by two bearded coding-enthousiasts during a years worth of weekends.

yes, yes, i know. I'm exaggerating. but that's basicly the feeling i get from watching youtube gameplay vids.
Youtubers playing this is probably the only reason why it's so high in the sales-chart right now.

*edit*
you heard it here first: This looks like one of those games that are well meant but will never leave alpha/beta. Like so many before it.
the devs will lose interest and after some years, a half finished product will "release" as 1.0.
