Nets can actually be relocated, so if you were only rotated 90º, just move them to the new front.
I think theres a chance the shark will attack any part in the water, at the start theres more outside radius than inside, so the chances of an inner attack is lower therefore adding surrounding peices does work at the start.
With bigger rafts though its not the case and the shark will attack more 'inner' parts.
Same but it still doesnt make it any less annoying.
Only workaround so far I found was to crash into an abandoned raft to try and flip myself but this is really a maniac strategy.
Tried turning the raft while docked with one sail on, two sails, no anchors, two anchors, all kinds of angles and combined with paddling while swimming towards the raft.. nothing really works, this is a really basic and important issue, Its frustrating to keep missing most of the items in the normal mode until I find a raft or an Island to crash into..
This is the only Issue Ive had in the game.. oh well.
