No more loot???

Is it normal that after a few hours playing suddendly there's no more objects coming from the sea??? i mean absoulutely nothing...is it a bug or normal?

also i noticed that reloading the game save sometimes fixes it

I believe loot only get generated when you are moving, since the loots are stationary. When your sail is against the wind, you'll stop moving and thus no loot will "come" to you. While the raft is moving you should be able to see 2 white wave trails left by the moving raft, from which you can tell which direction you are moving in. In other words, if you sail for the wind, loot will keep coming.

the game is only revolves around you soo you got to keep moving. its open world but only if your moving. pretty unique how thay did that. at least thats what i think

I have been having the same problem in the game. Sail down and in full motion, the islands, rafts, and floating debris just stopped spawning. The shark is still present and I can fish but that is it. Just played again for a few hours before this happened again. Usually have to start another raft from scratch when this happens.

The sail being down is the problem. Place a streamer and direct the sail in the same direction that the streamer points (not the opposite direction) or raise the sail.

Its sailing with the wind, items just completely stop spawning even when I am moving at a decent speed. Happened in 3 games so far, I make a fair amount of progress and then everything just stops. Tried going with the wind, tacking into the wind, taking the sail away completely, paddling for an hour. Nothing works.

How long did you sail "against" the wind?

did you try to save and reaload save?

Tried save reload, restart, everything. Just happened again on another game I had been working on for a long time. Can't seem to get anywhere without this happening. I have gone with the wind, against the wind everything, usually I sail with the wind as much as possible. Even took the sail out completely and let it drift for at least an hour. Nothing. I am getting very frustrated as I stopped at an Island and almost have enough materials for a smelter and as soon as I leave nothing new came.

This is not true, you simply aren't pointing your sail in the right direction, craft the red flag to see which way you need to point the sail and you will get loot while you sail.

regardless of direction you are going, the game will spawn loot at the edge of your vision after a short time.. keep heading in one direction and the game will spawn loot/crafts/islands in your rafts pathing

Yes its the sail. Put the sail down and leave the game. Came back to debri floating around. Thank goodness i almost died
