Durability on flippers
Hey Redbeet,

First I just want to say what a fun game this is, and this is just the beginning of early access! Playing with my GF and we have a great time :)

Secondly, as the title say. If possible, would you people rethink the durability on the flippers? For me it's doesen't really feel worth to make them considering how fast they break.

Looking forward to what you gonna do with the game!

Hälsningar från Göteborg ;)

/ Dan

Durability on a lot of items could use a buff.

lots of tools need a rework on them imo , like the paddle, the cost for making them vs durability are to high, basic hoock is ok i think, drinking water needs to fill more , and growing crops is just stupid, its better to seed a growplot and kill the bird lol
also the raft it needs more durability or a lower cost in making them , fighting the chark and repairing or replacing a piece of flooring , or making new spear is insane in the nr, of wood and stuf you need, so that you just keep farming/spending rope/wood/plastic

overal the game is nice , gameplay is very good, but need some tweeks

I find that by the time they break I can get 2-3 flippers worth of materials to remake them.

What would help is making smelters easier to make so I can make goo faster.

Flippers are perfect as they are in my opinion, went from struggling with Vine Goo and Metal, now i have nearly 80 Metal and 30 Vine Goo.

flippers break? I've never had this happen. I made a back up pair just in case but they've never broken. Same with the oxygen tank. Just take them out and put them back in the box and the health bar for either item goes back up

Say whaaaa... that's goofy lmao

I was going to say, before you blew my mind, that I do agree though I do still think they're with it... marginally. Same with most things but it's likely intentionally grindy at this phase cause there's not much content.

Like stated, they actually help more than one may realize. Between the 2 items, it let's you get much deeper and stay there. Most of the chests are right at no-gear oxygen limits to swim straight for them and back up. Not to mention making the most of what little time the bait/shark death offers.
